A stunning collection of four acrylic paintings on ceramic tiles in colours reminiscent of the Northern Lights. The iridescent blue and green tones shift as the light changes and are simply breathtaking, further enhanced by the glass-like resin coating. The paintings are mounted on a waxed wooden panel. This piece looks stunning as pictured in a vertical orientation, or horizontally, should you desire.
Two tiles were created using the 'bloom' technique and two the 'bloom swipe', using the same recipe for the paint layers. Precise paint preparation is paramount for these techniques to create the lacing and 'cells' in these paintings, using specific ingredient ratios and consistencies.
Care of your painting
For indoor use only.
Do not position in direct sunlight as this may cause yellowing of the resin.
To clean, use a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Do not use cleaning products on the resin, in case of clouding.
The wooden panel may be buffed lightly with wax polish, but do not allow contact of the wax with the resin.
Every effort has been made to ensure hanging fixtures are secure, however regular checks are recommended.
